ACUA, The Alberta Council for the Ukrainian Arts, is pleased to announce its upcoming musical series, Ukrainian Jam. We will be hosting a series of musical events beginning with our kick off event on Sunday, October 24, 2021. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. in the ACUA Shared Gallery space, followed by an Open Mic from 2 until 4 and a musical jam and singalong from 4 to 5.

Tickets are $5 and are available online and through our office. Only advance tickets will be sold and there will not be any tickets available at the door. There will be a cash bar.

We welcome solo musicians as well as duos and trios to participate. In future events we hope to be able to accommodate larger groups. Interested musicians are asked to contact us at [email protected] by October 3, 2021. As we will be holding more Ukrainian Jams in the future, musicians who cannot be accommodated on October 24 will be put on a wait list for future events.

We anticipate hosting future events that focus on different musical instruments and genres. Our objective is to provide a venue to showcase Ukrainian music and musicians as well as provide an opportunity for our youth to perform and hone their musical skills. Part of each event will be a jam session and singalong so that we have full audience participation.
