Are you new to home canning or looking to refresh your skills? Join us for The Beginner’s Water Bath Canning Workshop where you’ll learn to safely preserve your high acid foods and recipes.

In this hands-on workshop, Jennifer will guide you through the science behind water bath canning, ensuring you understand the principles that make this method safe and effective. You’ll leave with the knowledge and confidence to preserve your harvest and enjoy your homemade goods year-round.

What You’ll Learn:
The basics of water bath canning
How to select the right ingredients and tools
Step-by-step instructions for preserving various foods
Essential safety tips and best practices
Troubleshooting common canning issues

Materials Provided:
Jars, lids, and all necessary equipment and ingredients

Come and discover the joy of canning and take home your very own preserved goodie. Whether you’re a complete novice or just need a refresher, this workshop is perfect for you!Presenter Bio:

Jennifer Semeniuk grew up on a farm where preserving food with family and friends was a cherished tradition. This upbringing instilled in her a deep appreciation for homegrown, homemade goodness. Now, as a seasoned permaculture educator and herbalist, Jennifer is dedicated to sharing her knowledge and passion with others.

With years of experience in teaching workshops Jennifer has a unique blend of expertise that spans traditional canning methods to modern preservation techniques. Her workshops are not just about learning a skill but also about understanding the science and art behind it, ensuring participants can safely and confidently preserve their harvests.

Jennifer’s mission is to empower others to access and utilize the incredible bounty of food and plants around them. She believes that with the right knowledge and tools, everyone can enjoy the benefits of home preservation and sustainable living.
