Nataliia Iashnikova

Nataliia Iashnikova was born and raised in Kyiv, Ukraine. She developed her felting technique over several years then began teaching and collaborating with Kyiv designers to create fashion clothing. Nataliia and her family immigrated to Canada in 2015 and she continues to create beautiful, felted fashion accessories. Natural sheep’s wool from Italy and local Alpaca wool are used exclusively in her designs. She uses raw silk, viscose, linen, and nettle to enhance her textile designs.
