Audrey Uzwyshyn

Audrey’s pottery has been gracing homes for many years. She developed her love for the art as a student of Interior Design at the University of Manitoba. Her development of high fire reduction glazes makes each of her pieces unique, especially the Northern Lights collection, which reflects her love of lapidary. This was the influence of her parents in her upbringing; her collections are reminiscent of geodes and natural rock formations.

Audrey was a recipient of the Alberta Council for the Ukrainian Arts Award. Her pottery is collected the world over, from China to Europe and Australia. The former president of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko has her pieces in his collection. Audrey’s signature piece is the Baran or Ram, a symbol that embodies Ukrainian Folklore. It is a unique, highly cherished piece of art work that is the jewel of any collection, both in a home or a museum.
