The art of egg decorating has been practiced by Ukrainians for centuries. Traditionally, writing pysanky uses a wax resist method. Bukovinians used an embossing technique, where coloured wax is not removed from the egg. Embossing an egg creates adds dimension and texture the finished egg. This is an advanced class, you should have some basic knowledge of how to write a pysanka.
