Andrii Lysenko

Andrii Lysenko was born in Ukraine in the Carpathian region and since childhood has loved to draw everything catching his eye especially his Homeland’s wonderful nature. He graduated from art school with Honours and won many regional and interregional exhibitions. After graduating from university he started working in the energy field while continuing to paint during his leisure time.

Andrii especially likes to paint with oil as it creates depth and incorporates real life most naturally. He is inspired by Renato Muchilo, Andrew Tischler, Michael James Smith, and I. Shishkin.

Halyna Hotsaliuk

Halyna Hotsaliuk is a self-taught artist, passionate about painting. In 1999 she left the western part of Ukraine and moved to Canada. Growing up in a village, experiencing stunning natural scenery, and helping out in the fields with her family revived her memories of childhood and inspired her to express it in art.

In 2022 Halyna first began painting using acrylic mediums. Her 45-piece art collection depicts Ukraine’s future in peace, hope, and prosperity. When she paints, she immerses herself in the past and dreams about the future. She adores painting flowers, and since poppies and sunflowers are so dear to her heart, she especially enjoys painting them. Sunflowers are a representation of renewal and hope, which is essential for Ukraine. They are also a symbol of peace and perseverance. Poppies stand for youth, beauty, remembrance, and the prospect of a peaceful future.

Galyna Petrova

Galyna Petrova’s art is inspired by the nature of her native Ukraine. She lives surrounded by the Carpathian Mountains with their spectacular views, fast flowing rivers, waterfalls, valleys and meadows filled with wildflowers. Her artworks have shown in museums, solo and group exhibitions in Ukraine, London, Rome, and Poland and has been chosen for the Chelsea Art Society Annual Open Exhibition. She organized her own art projects to raise money for children with cancer durign an Open Garden exhibition during the pandemic.

Educated at Lviv State Institute of Physical Culture (Ukraine) and The Study at Art Studio (London, UK) Galyna exhibits extensively in Ukraine and abroad. She takes part in numerous art projects and events. In these challenging times she also organises projects to raise money for children with cancer.
