Moving Notice
Dear ACUA Members and Supporters,
You knew this time was coming…
All businesses and organizations in Strathearn Centre were given notice to vacate, as the area will be undergoing redevelopment. It was in the news and of course gossip moves faster than a kolomyika in our community. We are relieved and excited to share that ACUA has found a perfect new location in the Queen Mary Park area, close to downtown Edmonton. Just like Baba’s kava the move is bittersweet. We will dearly miss our location in Strathearn, and our kind and loving neighbours that visit often and support our artists and our organization. It is our hope that you will continue to drop in, to attend our events and to support Ukrainian arts. And we will dearly miss our friends the neighbouring businesses in Strathearn Centre. This new chapter in our journey is one for us all to share together as a community. After all, we are not moving too far. And before you ask, yes there is some free designated parking outside the new building.
We are so excited to share the new space with all of you!
Groundbreaking events and inspiring workshops are fast-approaching. Our new gallery will be a more optimal space for showing art, as well it will be more suited to host a wide range of events and workshops! The new space is also easier to access from different parts of the city. There are many galleries, arts organizations and fantastic small businesses in the area and we are deeply looking forward to becoming a part of this vibrant neighbourhood. As well we are pleased to announce that we will continue to share our space with our cozy friends, the Focus on Fibre Art Association (FFAA). We know you are excited to see the new location, so please read the important notes below and have a look at our upcoming events.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
ACUA will be CLOSED
Sunday October 2nd, 2022 to Wednesday October 19th, 2022.
Our first day OPEN at the new location will be Thursday October 20th, 2022. Just like a normal Thursday we’ll be open 10am-4pm. We will continue to be open afterwards at our regular hours.
The new address is 10554 110 Street (suite 100). It is close to Shumka Dance Centre, and just north of Grant MacEwan University.
Please do not visit the site prior to our opening October 20th as it is currently undergoing construction.
