Alyona Blyznyuk

Alyona Blyznyuk was born in Kyrovohrad (Kropyvnytski), Ukraine. She and her family moved to Edmonton, Alberta in 2002, when Alyona was 12. Ever since she was little, she loved beating and creating jewelry. As time passed, her hobbies grew into something bigger, which led her to create Foros Jewelry. Her pieces are made using high-quality seed beads and locally-purchased gemstones and cabochons. Alyona uses a variety of techniques, like bead embroidery and bead crochet. Her inspiration comes from similar types of jewelry common in European countries. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and made with love and care.
