Myroslava Lozjuk

Myroslava was born on a beautiful sunny day in April 1986. She has lived in Lviv, Ukraine most of her life. Myroslava studied architecture at Lviv Polytechnic National University. Since her early childhood, she has been passionate about drawing and always enjoyed experimenting with colours and materials.

Myroslava was always looking for something new, and wanted to come up with her own technique and style. For a long period of time while studying architecture, she did not use colour in her designs. She used black and white graphics; colours seemed to be excessive in this refined and laconic world of graphics. Then everything changed, she found a piece of glass with an unfinished picture on it. In that same moment ideas streamed into her head and it was then that my hands longed to start using colours in her designs again. This experience is how she started painting on glass, and now she cannot create a design without colours.

Her artwork won in the Graphics/Painting/Collage entry at the competition of the art festival “Ekonyaka”. She has exhibited in Lviv and in the national exhibition “Menestreli”. Besides painting on glass and making illustrations, she also enjoys creating handmade greeting cards.
